Adults Have All The Answers

Adults have all the answers. This I thought was true. Depending on the culture, the process of becoming an adult ranges from drinking alcohol for the first time to changing the way you dress. For some of you, adulthood means graduation from college; for others, adulthood begins when they are financially supporting themselves. People have different definitions and expectations about adulthood but everyone, at some point, thinks that adults have all the answers. You suddenly realize adults have problems too, when you, the same kid as you were before, are told that you are now an adult with responsibilities you have never heard of. There isn’t an “adult handbook” that teaches you how to become an adult. But that’s okay, like all adults, we’ll figure it out.
