The only purpose of school is to learn knowledge. This I thought was true. School is important, but not just for the reasons you think. A major purpose of school is to help you grow into a rounded person who can handle any task given and works well with others. You will pick upeverything else when you are actually working at your job. You will need basic knowledge, but some skills may never be used outside of school again. For instance, most people do not use science at work. But if Einstein was never taught science as a kid, how would he have known he was interested in it? Lastly, a college degree proves to your future employer that you are responsible and determined enough to achieve your goals. If you are good at what you do, nobody will fire you because your major is not related to your career.
