Oliver had an English contest with Johnson on descriptions using animals. Despite this subject being Oliver's specialty, he still lost. Annie proceeds to explain the various different animal-related descriptions Johnson used and Oliver did not understand.

Annie asks about the new foreign student, Tom. Oliver describes how cold Tom’s attitude is. Annie wonders why Oliver doesn’t invite Tom to basketball. Oliver says Tom is too good at basketball to play with them, so they would not have fun playing together.

Annie notices that Oliver looks very untidy with his shirt untucked and his face dirty. Oliver says someone in his study group complained about him not contributing and they ended up pushing each other. Oliver wants to demonstrate how the fight started, but Annie stops him because the office is too small.

Yesterday, Oliver’s father said something in Taiwanese to him but Oliver didn’t know what that meant. Annie explains it to Oliver and tells him similar expressions in English, that have to do with pig or hog.
